To everyone who was able to attend the continuing education seminar on California Dental Practice Act seminar earlier this month, THANK YOU for making the evening a success. Guest Speaker Diane Morgan of Superior Office Safety commented that it was a great group and appreciated that the participants were interactive and inquisitive on the latest guidelines and effective practice policies. She looks forward to speaking for our office again!
For everyone who participated in this Category One – CE course you have been awarded 2 units for renewal of your license. We appreciate your attendance and are glad that we can be a resource for supporting the maintenance, growth and professionalism of our dental community.
We have invited speaker Nancy Andrews, RDH, BS to present our next presentation on Thursday February 7, 2008. The lecture will be from 5:30 – 7:30 with refreshments and dinner starting at 5pm. Please click here to learn more and register
TIS IS THE SEASON FOR THANKS AND GIVING!

With the recent invents in our area and the devastation that has occurred throughout the Southern California Community it is impossible to not know or to not have come in contact with someone who was affected by the tragic California wildfires. Gratefully, none of the colleagues or team members we work with personally experienced a loss. Just many moments of holding there breathe as they watched the fires reach over the hills and into Whiting Ranch and Foothill Ranch. All of us were aware of the severity as the inescapable cloud of smoke hung in the air and permeated our surrounding community. Long pauses and moments of thanks were taken as our community was spared the loss of homes and surrounding structures thanks to the efforts of the firefighting community.
Now that the fires are out we cannot miss the apparent despair. Looking out of our operatory windows we stand in awe of the charred hills as we see how close the fires got to affecting our community. We are thankful once again and wondered if or what we should do for those less fortunate. We contacted the CDA and learned that they have put together a program to help in the relief efforts and will be paying close attention to any person or practice in our Southern California dental community that may not have been as fortunate as us. Jennifer Stollo is the person leading the task for the CDA and is the point of contact. We have spoken and are working with Jennifer Stolo, Associate Executive Director for CDA Foundation. She is the person leading the task and is the point of contact for CDA. Click here to learn more
Our team is glad that we can be apart of giving to those who lost so much.
